Synchronicity is defined in the dictionary as the simultaneous occurrence of events which appear significantly related but have no discernible causal connection.
This concept works by first setting a goal or intention, from there the Law of Attraction will present you events (occurring in your favour) that eventually lead you on the right path putting your desires in reach.
In order for this to happen you must be willing to open your mind to the idea, pay more attention and take these non-coincidental signs from the universe as a nudge in the right direction.
Its been said that synchronicities mirror deep psychological processes, carry messages the way dreams do, and take on meaning and provide guidance to the degree they correspond to emotional states and inner experiences.
This phenomenon lets you know you’re on the right path, but what’s the belief behind its invisible powers?
The Law of Attraction
The strong belief that “like attracts like,” therefore, if you have negative thoughts it will bring about negative experiences to your life, just the same as if you have positive thoughts, it will therefore attract more positivity to your life. The belief is based on the ideas that people and their thoughts are made from “pure energy”, and that a process of like energy attracting like energy exists through which a person can improve their health, wealth, and personal relationships.
What does synchronicity actually look like?
Imagine you are struggling to make the right decision over a big opportunity you were offered, and you walk down the street to clear your head and grab a coffee, as you look up you notice someone in a t-shirt that says “Just Do It!” in big bold letters. As you continue walking and enter the coffee shop, you keep hearing “yes” within conversations throughout the coffee shop… Coincidence? I think not.. This is just one possible example of what synchronicity can look like.
Some may think that these coincidences are random, but coincidences are essentially synchronicity, or as I like to say, the Law of Attraction in action!
The problem with this concept is that most people aren’t aware of it and therefore brush off these meaningful signs and events. Once you open up to the idea and become more aware of your surroundings is the moment you will truly start to notice more synchronicity in your life.
How to increase synchronicity in your life:
- Find your true passion: this is the first step to attracting synchronicity, once you discover your true passion, begin incorporating it in your life each and every day
- Pay more attention: this is the only way to become aware of synchronicities, no matter how small or big, it will all lead you on the right path.
- Learn to let go: you can’t control everything, and when some things don’t go your way it’s happening for a reason, try to remind yourself of this and detach yourself to the outcome you envisioned.
- Trust: in my opinion this is the most important step, trust yourself, trust your intuition, this is how synchronicity will happen. If something inside is telling you to go for a drive, or read a book for example, do it!
One of the best tips to bringing more awareness to your synchronicity is by “thinking less and feeling more” in addition to trusting and following your intuition. By being in tune with your inner voice, you can understand the outer signs easier.
